Political Impact
1.During the occupation, people learnt that they should be prepared in any war. The failure seen in the WW2 people learnt to be prepared for war and to defend themself. In the war, organisations like force 136, MPAJA were formed to resisdt the japanese. In the operation heroes like Lim Bo Seng took risk and sacrificed.
Economic Impact
There was a devaluation of currency. As the Japnese need more money, They printed the money as much as they want. This caused much poverty to people as the remaining resources were siphoned by the japanese and they had to ration the resources. Food prices and essential resouces went up. This was caused poverty.
Social Impact
There was also another operation... Something like the holocaust but the japanese version of holoocaust is called 'sook ching' operation.This operation is aimed to wipe out anti japanese suspects in the chinese community. those suspects were not gassed but they are shot dead by soldiers on beaches. Those not suspected were given a stamp to certify that they are not anti japanese.
In conclusion, I have learnt that a warb shopuld not be created as it causes trouble and utmost inconvinience to people...
