My first experience driving a car happened when I was seven years old, no license required. Not an actual car mind you, but a theme park ride at Disneyland, Anaheim. You can’t go off the designated track, but its easy to drive. All you have to do is hit the accelerator. When I was young I was fascinated with my dad’s car, and I wished to drive it like he did, especially sounding the car horn. I started learning to drive a car when I was 22 years old, and even though I managed to obtain my license I don’t drive. Put it down to the driving culture here, where people don’t wish to give way and that the family car is a six-seater MPV. I’ve attempted to drive in my estate before but I got too scared. On weekends the roads become a one way street as a number of my neighbours own more than one car and they park on the side of the road.
