Hi all,
My dad was trying to defend Singapore from the Japanese but was captured and place in Changi as a Prisoner of War. To keep his sanity, he told me he drew and painted. He died recently and we found he has over 300 paintings he did in Changi with various paintings of Burma, Singapore and life in Changi as well as 100 theatre programs.
Feb 15 2012 is the 70th Anniversary of the Fall of Singapore and we have now scanned all his work that has been in a cupboard for the past 60 years and put it on a website. Please have a look and if you think other would benefit from it, spread the word about it. See www.changipowart.com
