Honestly speaking I can't really recall a time of racial harmony. We all are taught in school to respect the other races and accept them. But Singapore itself is not really tolerant of others, homosexuality being one of the examples I can think of right now.

Sadly, I am being forced, I mean chosen to write a story of the topic so I think I can either make one up or look deeeeeeeeeeeep in the dark recesses of my mind.

Since making a story is basically asking 'scold me harshly and whip me while your at it' from my teachers, I think I will sit for a moment and think.

Hmm... Hmm... Hmm...

Okay I got one, in my primary school, we had this fair in 2008 (so I was born in 1996 so that means I would have been hm, say 12?) So anyway, in the fair we had sports being displayed in booths and they were about sports since 2008 was the Olympics in Beijing and there sooo much hype about it.

So I was queuing up to try my hands at archery, I saw in front of me two boys, one Malay and one Chinese. They were yapping away and then one Indian boy around my age walk by and asked, "Can I cut queue?" to the two talking. They agreed. I did not really care about it because I myself have done this. And also, it was just one person and we only could fire three arrows before getting our asses kicked to the back of the line.

Then another boy came, this time an ang-moh. Yet again they agreed. I still did not act upon it so I just stood there and then turned my head around, looking at the other stalls and planning my next destination.

Then I looked back at the queue.

Holy $#!t! There were two Chinese boys, three Malay boys, that one ang-moh and one person of a race I did not even know. I still did not voice out anything. So what should have been a 3 minute wait turned to 15.

As for my turn at the bow. I missed the target completely.
