Today my school celebrated racial harmony day. This event, although i had participated in the event last year already, today's event was quite unforgettable. We had teachers coming into the class and teaching us special dialects from China. We had an unforgettable time, we sang songs, learnt about how to cook their special food and much more. Unlike two years back when we went from door to door to give gifts to people from differnent races, this activity made us learn from our teachers what our forefathers did when they were kids. I feel that this activity made us learn more from our forefathers and what we should do to try and learn how they speak during the 1950s. Perhaps many people will think that learning our forefather's dialect is just a waste of time, but for me, i think that this is an opportunity to learn more about their culture.
