Collecting stickers used to be my favourite hobby during my primary school days. During the peak period, I remembered I had four sticker albums and many sheets of stickers which I hadn’t had time to transfer them into my sticker albums.

When I was younger, before I bought my sticker albums, I used to stick stickers onto the doors of my refrigerator. At that time, I thought the fridge would be very pretty and my mother would be happy that I helped her decorate my fridge. Little did I expect that she would be so angry as to spank me. From that day onwards, she bought me a sticker album to paste my stickers. That was my first sticker album and my collection grew from one to four books.

In school, during recess time, I would trade stickers with my friends and admire my collections whenever I could. I was very picky when choosing a sticker to trade. I would choose those with nice textures, I was particularly attracted to furry animal types. I remembered that I had a classmate who wanted to trade me one of these for five of my stickers. I was in a dilemma but I still went ahead with it. I guess it was one of those times where you are willing to make sacrifices for something you really wanted. =)

As I grew up, I lost interest in sticker collecting and gave all my sticker albums to my younger brother. I believe they are lying in one of his drawers as I rarely see him admiring the collection now.
