In my family, birthday celebrations aren’t a very big affair. It consists of buying the birthday cake and gathering the whole family around. Since my family consists of four people, this isn’t that difficult to do. I came across these pictures of my first and fifth birthday celebrations. I don’t remember them, but what I like about them is how happy I look in the pictures. It doesn’t take much to make a child happy, just have some cake and sweets and that’s how easy it is. At least in my case, I think that’s how I developed a sweet tooth. Of course there’s the obligatory first year celebration with the big cake and celebrations with my parents’ friends.
