Parkway Parade shopping centre has undergone major changes over the years. Going to Parkway Parade shopping centre used to be a weekly affair for my family. I remember when other shops such as Toy R’Us and Yaohan the department store used to be around. Back then, there were more seating areas outside the complex, although the fountain has always been there. My mum used to bring me there every weekend, and she would let pick an Enid Blyton book to buy, after which we’d have lunch at Jack’s Place. Now the place has been renovated and it looks the same as any other shopping centre in Singapore.
