It was really lucky for my family and I to win the tickets to NDP at Padang. It was a refreshing experience as it was the first time for us to attend NDP at other places other than the National Stadium.
We went there at around 4pm and watched the hosts play some warming-up games with the audiences. It was pretty interesting being part of the ‘padang’ waves. The performances were more or less the same as previous years, what make the difference is the venue. The fireworks are beautiful and magnificent, on top of that, looking at the different tanks and different army equipments are quite enjoyable.
In 2007, NDP will be held on a floating platform at Marina Bay. I hope my family can get the tickets again to experience this year’s NDP.
