VivoCity opened last year and it can easily claim the title of Singapore’s largest shopping centre. The first time I went shopping there I was awed by the size of the building. Yes the shops are relatively far apart across from each other so perhaps its not reaally that big but almost every retail chain has an outlet there. It reminded me of shopping centres overseas which tend to be built on a bigger scale. The sheer size of Vivocity is rare in Singapore due to land constraints,and many neighbourhood malls are tiny in comparison.
