History lesson was boring... Very indeed. My teacher when on blabbering on and on. I tried very hard to stay focus and alert but my eyelids were very heavy and were drooping.. A voice in my head told me to stay alert because there would be a level test coming up. My teacher talked about the chapter "What impact did World War 2 had on Singapore?"  The political impact stated the Kempeitai instilling fear and anxiety in the locals people during the Japanese Occupation. Those suspected as anti-Japanese were subjected to terrible torture and decapitition at the Kempeitai Centre. I felt that they were very cruel. I also read somewhere in some other history sources where the Japanese soldiers raped women and kill them after that. My grandmother told me that her mother told her that women last time tried to use charcoal to paint their face black so they looked dirty and ugly. The Japanese soldiers would see the dirty, black -faced woman and might not want to rape her. I find it very amusing. However, i find it kind of make sense. I really pity our ancestors who were tortured and killed by the Japanese soldiers.
