Look carefully at the two bowls: one is hexagonal and the other octagonal. Although I know that the octagonal bowl is also known by its Hokkien name 'puay kark wahr', I do not know the dialect equivalent for the hexagonal bowl. The octagon is considered auspicious, inducing wealth. Take a second look at the windows of Ritz Carlton Millenia Hotel - they are octagonal in shape. Cool.
