During the 50s to the 70s, coffeeshops sell and present cigarettes differently from nowadays. My late father was a coffeeshop proprietor - and if a customer ordered a pack of cigarettes, he would deliver it to the customer's table, attractively nestled in a cigarette tray. Papa left me with many of these aluminium trays. Most of them were sponsored by tobacco firms. Papa would indicate prices on the trays. When an order was placed, he would pull out a correctly priced tray to match the product.
