“Hero” is the word that is always associated to the person who is most powerful, strong and always fights for justice. In comparison to others, my hero is quite different from the usual tough and mighty one.

My hero does not have the most deadly powers to fight against the bad eggs but my hero has the warmest hands in the world which can melt away my sorrows. My hero is not the perfect person but my hero has the kindest heart in the world. The person who is always the hero in my eyes is my mother. She is always a hero in my life as she was the one who gave life to me. Despite of all the pains, she gave birth to me, brought me up and filled my life with care and love.

My mother is just an ordinary woman like many other women who has a career and a family to take care of. My mother has developed a tanned complexion over the years as she always drives here and there on her motorbike under the hot sun. She is quite slim even though she has given birth to four children. She is slightly tall standing at an average height of one hundred and fifty five meters . She has black, curly hair with some touches of white strands and when it is combed neatly, it makes her look like a professional business woman. Despite her looks, the most I love about her is her hands; which have become callous due to the many tiring household chores she has been handling. Even though her hands look callous, they still seem very smooth to me. Whenever she uses her hands, to lift up my face to kiss my forehead every morning, before she goes to work, her hands give me renewed power to face the challenges for the day and her hugs which are ever so precious give me the courage to move on in all difficult situations knowing that her support is always there for me. She uses those same callous hands to wipe my tears and sadness which are always comforting. My mother is also the most understanding person as she seems to know all my problems. Whenever I am upset, she calms me down. Whenever I am happy, she shares the happiness with me by giving a bright smile on her face.

My mother is a caring person and I always feel warm whenever I am with her. She always listens to me and has a way of making me feel safe to share and express my interests. After listening to me patiently, she never fails to express her own views. Nevertheless, she lets me take my own decision which allows me to be more responsible. From young till now, she has never scolded me; she corrects me by words and advices. I admire the ways she teaches her children. It is not a harsh rule but it makes the children to follow her and I want to be a good mother like her in the future.

At work, my mother is a good and understanding leader. She is always able to run the company smoothly. She always encourages her colleagues to work hard by and builds a good team work among all the staff under her. My mother is quite friendly so everybody in the company likes her and admires her characteristics.

Furthermore, I also admire my mother because of her kind heartedness. She always volunteers herself to help out in the charitable organizations. She also donates a lot of money to the poor and needy people. I initially hated to do volunteer work at these organizations but, slowly, I managed to see the smiles on those less fortunate people’s faces when we helped them.

My mother is not a perfect person. But to me, she is perfect in everything and I love her a lot. She is the perfect person to be my hero forever.
