Everyone has their own hero. Be it superman, batman, spiderman or normal everyday people. But for me, my hero is none other than my very own mother. She can be a pain sometimes, but I am sure that when she scolds, nags at me, she is doing it for my sake. My mother has always listened to some of my problems and have given me solutions, even though sometimes it makes the whole situation even worse than it already is. But I know that she never meant to make my problem worse. Everytime I confide in her, tears roll down my cheek. And my mother always embraced me in her arms.
A mother's love towards her child can never be repaid. No matter what sins a person has committed, their mothers' would still love them. As for me, my mother has showered me with love and affection, as well as presents. She always nags at me if I do things wrongly, and even though at that point of time, I might be furious with her, I understand that her means of her actions as time passes. My mother has many tasks to handle at a time. But even so, she always finds time to coach me on my weaker subjects even when she is exhausted. Sometimes, I take advantage of my mother's kindness. And sometimes, I worry her by returning home late from school. Currently, my mother is sitting for an exam to achieve a degree. And now, she is trying her best to balance her job, exam, chores and family time.
Both my brother and I have some attitude problems and my mother always have a hard time coping with our attitudes and crabby moods. It is understood that our mothers' did not have manual when we were born, and they often make mistakes. However, I can feel that my mother is trying her best to understand my brother and I. It is certainly a tedious task. My mother is always concerned about my health, studies and the kind of people I hang out with. My mother can be a real couch potato from time to time, but everyone has their lazy moments. However, when my mother switches to 'slack mode' she drives me up the wall! She lazes around and becomes such a couch potato and even a sick person!
My mother and I have our fair share of opposites. And, it sometimes leads to a disagreement between us. For example, my mother can study up to twelve hours a day, whereas the maximum number of hours for me three. Also, our sense of style is different in most ways. In other words, we disagree with each other quite a lot. But, what I really love about my mother, is her love for animals. My mother and I have always loved animals. Be it cats, dogs, birds, bears or hamsters, we love them all, except pigs.
I learn things from my mother that cannot be learnt from anyone else. Her determination and stability inspire me to do well and learn to stand up for my own rights. This is why, my hero, is my mother.
