I am a miracle baby! During my mother's 16th week prangnancy , she had a very bad bleeding and was sent to the hospital urgently. In the hospital the doctors tried their best to stop the bleeding and saved the baby but unfortunately the situation was so serious and bad that the doctors had to give up and admit to my parents that they had to abort the baby in the next morning. During that decisive night, my mother was very sad and had suddenly dreamed that she had finally fought her way through and had born a new-born baby. In the next morning when the doctor arrived to carry out the abortion, my mother refused to let him do the abortion, instead she insisted that she would want to keep this baby. She pleaded and persuaded the doctor to try  to save the baby. My mother urged so sincerely that the doctor finally agreed to give another operation to save the baby.

The operation was tedious and long which lasted for almost 6 hours for the doctor to push back the baby to  her womb. Luckily the doctor had at least suceeded in pushing and holding the baby back to her womb. My mother was discharged after a week in the intensive care unit and the doctor advised her to be bed-ridden for the rest of her prenancy.

Everything seemed fine and the baby was growing for the next couple of weeks and all of us felt relief and happy that the baby wiould be fine and growing well for the rest of the prenancy. Unfortunately on the night of the 29th week, my mother started to feel pain in her abdomen and bleeding had again started. My father quickly sent her to the hospital and the doctor was summoned. The pain and the bleeding were so serious that the doctors could not hold the baby back. On the same night of her admission, I was born as a premature baby with a body weight of only 1.4kg. The doctor had tried his best to save me but he would not promise that I would be able to survive. I was then placed in the incubation box and tube feeding for the period of one and half months and was plucked with tubes all over my body. Many tests and experiments were carried out on my body with many injections on my hands.

Fortunately I was able to grow and gained weight day by day with the intensive care of the nurses. When I grew and gained weight to about 1.9 kilogram, the doctor had examined me and agreed to discharge me after staying in the hospital for almost 2 months. Now I am a healthy and normal boy eventhough I was born as a pre-mature baby before.

Up to date, whenever I think back of the story which my parents relate to me, I feel so grateful and thankful to my parents and the doctors  especially my mother who had insisted to save me during her pregnancy. From this incident I have learnt how to be grateful and cherish my life very much and always offer my help to others who need help in one or another.
