My hero is someone that is willing to sacrifice herself or her time to help a person in need. This is a person who i have respected as a hero. She may not have superpowers to fly or anything but being a hero does not need powers.

Now to begin my story, I got to tell you about this special person which she happens to be my ex math and science teacher she was a great teacher but she had to go to some kind of course. I started my primary 5 with not so good marks, although I knew there was no hope for me to get 80 marks, (other than my family) she never gave up on me.                                                                                                                                                                                  Despite the fact that she had to work, she stayed back with me and a few other boys to revise what she had done in class. The day before the exam, she told the whole class to stay back. We knew at once what was going to happen.                                                                                                                                                                                                 ‘Dong dong dong ‘the bell churned.’ You may begin’ said the well looking teenage tester. All at once scribbling of pencil could be heard. Soon I dawned upon a fairly difficult question. I remained calm and thought what I have learnt…Soon the answer to my prayer reached me. I decided to use the before and after concept.                                                                                                                                                                             The day after the exam, our class got back our results.’77! Yes’ I screamed with joy. The rest of the 1st term went by smoothly.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             But an unfortunate day came we knew that this day had to come. She, our teacher, had to leave us.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         She knew we would miss her so she brought forward our children’s day. She book a shale for us to stay for a night. I reach there at 3pm sharp. We had a fun time not to mention eating samba stingray. We had BBQ party. Even our English and Chinese teacher came.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       That was the last I saw of my teacher. On the day of our national day, we were surprise that our ex teacher came too.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       We were told that our new teacher was better but she was not. Her standards were much higher and she does not care if we did not listen to her unlike Mrs. Chua, my hero I have been talking about, she prefer to stay indoor and teach us.                                                                                                                                                                                                      Our exam marks decreased. Up till now, the new teacher still teaches the same way. The lesson started to get boring. Most of us started to turn a deaf to what she said. Until one day, Mrs. Chua came to relief us as one teacher was sick. She told us ‘I will try to talk to the new teacher but do behave’ we could hardly believe what we saw, the new teacher teaching the same way as Mrs. Chua!                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Ever since than our marks kept increasing and the new teacher became better. We were also hoping that our Chinese marks could be 70 or above as our ex teacher promised us that she would teach us in primary 6 if we could go to 6C class. I am still trying my best to keep my promise (The End) Chua Heng Wee(5)5C(Maris Stella primary)
