| anti-racist is a very strong word, Bryan. Maybe we could rephrase that to say that we need to be sensitive and appreciate difference instead of admonishing it. Good effort on your comment! Keep it up! |

I think being a Singaporean is appreciating and embracing all our differences be it language, love, religion, race and all. But yet at the same time, we live harmoniously with one another.
I think being a Singaporean is to have friends from different races and getting shock looks from your foreign friends that you have so many friends from different races. Same goes for learning different langauges from these friends. I think it's great to be a Singaporean in a lot of sense, but more so because we have friends from different races, that we become more tolerant and appreciative of these differences. Re lol: I agree, sometimes we think cracking racial jokes are a small matter, but we may hurt someone with it. |
