| I remembered my school; single storey, L shaped with the canteen which we called tuckshop at the en of the longer arm of the L. The toilets were at the joint of the L and was dark. We were frightened to go to the toilet. Now schools are so much improved with clean airy toilets, bright cheerful colours and so many more facilities. I went back to look at my school and it was such a sad sight. Old, deserted and quite run down. But what memories. We were more disciplined, respectful of school rules and teachers than children of today. |
