Hi everyone,
I am organizing a World Harmony Run next year on 3 to 5 Jan 2011 when the international World Harmony runners are coming here for a short visit. Our focus will be on school children. The World Harmony Run is a ongoing year-long global event that aims to foster international friendships and understanding amongst people. More than 1 million people from 100 countries have participated in this global effort to promote greater peace and harmony. Amongst the world leaders, dignitaries and famous people who supported this event include President Nelson Mandela, former Russian President M. Gorbachev, the late Mother Teresa, The Dalai Lama, the late Pope John Paul, and sports and entertainment celebrities like Carl Lewis, boxing great Muhammad Ali, ex-Beatle Sir Paul MaCartney and Cathy Freeman. check it out and remember to watch the video: http://www.worldharmonyrun.org If you are interested to a be volunteer of this event in schools or if you know of any local or international primary school teachers or principals who maybe interested to have a presentation done in their schools, please send me a message at singapore@worldharmonyrun.org.
