3 December, City Hall. Our first Malayan-born Head of State, Yusof bin Ishak, was installed. A new flag, in striking red and white with five stars and a crescent moon, flew high at City Hall for the first time. It was a significant day in Singapore's history. Do you know why? Project 3/12 will tell you why. You will also find out more about what it means to be a Singaporean and how Singapore has changed since 1959. And if you don't know what Singapore's national symbols are and who created them, then this is the exhibition for you.
