On 3rd December 1959, the first Malayan-born Yang di-Pertuan Negara (Head of State), Encik Yusof bin Ishak was installed. Singapore's three National Symbols - the National Flag, the National Anthem and the State Crest (National Coat of Arms) were also unveiled for the first time to the people. Since then, we have added three more symbols - the Pledge, the National Flower and the Lion Head Symbol.
Singapore's six National Symbols are hidden in the picture. How many times can you spot each of the symbols in the picture? Submit your answer here and you may stand to win cash prize of $100 in a lucky draw! May the sharpest five pairs of eyes win! The closing date for the competition is 22 January 2010.
